What a wonderful appointment I had at Medici for epidural injections! I can't say enough about Jana and Sarah and the gentleman in the back and front office personnel also. They were so caring and friendly; it was quite entertaining while waiting for my turn! They have such a pleasant camaraderie together and engage the patients in conversation too. They bring a very comfortable atmosphere to all. It sure helped pass the time and alleviate any anxiety one might have. The best part is I walked out with NO PAIN. However, later I realized that was mostly due to the local anesthesia... Ha, ha on me! I know it is a temporary fix, but I will enjoy it as long as it is effective. That night I started the new medications and have remained pain free. I still use lidocaine patches but the new medications have made All the difference. Sonny Singh Dosanjh, M.D with ABMS Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Physiatry) and Emory Fellowship Trained in Multidisciplinary Pain Management. He completed his residency and fellowship training at Emory University.
Dr. Dosanjh is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada where his parents still reside. Both of his younger sisters are also medical professionals. He has been blessed with a family who has provided him the necessary principles and values to accomplish his personal and professional goals; compassion, morality and perseverance have allowed him the opportunity to practice medicine.
He first came to Atlanta and Emory as a physician resident more than 10 years ago, has resided in the where he has been an active volunteer in community programs.
Dr. Dosanjh completed his undergraduate studies at one of Canada’s elite programs, The University of British Columbia where he was inducted into the Golden Key National Honor Society. He completed medical school at St. Christopher’s College, in England where he also secured a job as the quarterback of a professional football (American football) team. There, he was offered an opportunity to play in the NFL Europe which he turned down as he made a clear commitment to pursue a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Emory University.
Specializing in pain, sport, spine, rehabilitation and Dr. Dosanjh and his team of medical professionals develop individualized treatment plans based on their assessment; minimally invasive surgical procedures, injections, physical therapy, and long-term oral analgesics.
Dr. Dosanjh treats patients suffering from neck, mid-back, lumbar, buttock (with or without radiating symptoms into the extremities) and joint as well as pain from nerve related disorders. It does not matter if they have seen other specialists or had other procedures, they may still benefit from his knowledge and his interventional skills.
He has published a number of papers, delivered lectures and presentation and participated in several research projects in affiliation with Emory.
Dr. Dosanjh has a passion for medicine and would like to use his life experiences to bring physical and emotional healing to his patients.
Harvinder Bhatti, M.D. graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emory University with a Bachelors in Science in Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology. He completed his education and residency at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he served as Chief Resident in Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Bhatti spent a year in England, after being selected to complete the prestigious Spine Fellowship at the London Spine Clinic.
Since returning stateside to Georgia in 2010, Dr. Bhatti treats complex spine pathologies and has established himself as a leader in both the academic and clinical arenas. Dr. Bhatti's focuses on minimally invasive, motion sparing spine procedures that mobilize the patient, but with the least morbidity. His dynamic, minimally invasive techniques are revolutionizing spine care in Atlanta and the Southeast.
He is an active, Board-Certified Diplomate with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons (ABOS), the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery (AAOS), the North American Spine Society (NASS), the International Society for Advancement of Spine Surgery (ISASS), the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (SMISS), and the Atlanta Spine Society, where he is a founding member.
In his relentless pursuit of optimal patient care, Dr. Bhatti shares his findings in academic settings around the world, strengthening the existing body of spine research and improving teaching methods in this field.
In addition, he is involved in many philanthropic ventures, such as his 2013 work with Operation Straight Spine in Kolkata, India. Since then, he founded Seva Spine, where his mission is to help those in need who cannot afford modern Spine & Orthopaedic care…

Paul King White, MD is an Emory trained, board-certified Physiatrist specializing in interventional pain management, sports injuries, neuromodulation, specialized injections, migraine treatment, CRPS, neuropathy, ultrasound injections, PRP, and personal injury cases.
Dr. White received his undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University in biology, while playing varsity tennis where he became an All-American. He finished his Medical School Degree at LSU Shreveport and went on to complete an internship in General Surgery at LSU New Orleans. Finally, he completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Emory in 2014 and has been in private practice since.
He is a 5th generation Medical Doctor, hailing from his father King, who is a cardiologist. At a very young age, Dr. White’s father would bring him to the hospital to shadow and learn what it took to be an MD. His father taught him to always listen to your patients and be kind. He chose the field of pain management because of his love for continuity, communication, and patient care. Pain Management can restore hope and function, while living a pain free life.
Dr. White treats patients suffering from all types of pain from migraines, sports injuries, nerve injuries, neck, low back, etc. Dr. White will develop an individualized treatment plan that starts with a physical assessment, therapy, imaging, medications, counseling, injections, surgery, and if needed long term analgesics.

Larry Empting, M.D. is a Neurologist practicing in Atlanta for more than 25 years.
His practice treats all types of (mostly) traumatically induced brain, spine, musculoskeletal and peripheral nerve disorders.
Dr. Empting is a Minnesota native where he did his undergraduate degree at Concordia College (Magna Cum Laude). After three years researching Alzheimer Disease at the University of North Dakota, School of Medicine, Department of Neuroscience/Psychiatry, he did his medical school at the University of Minnesota/Minneapolis.
He completed did two residencies at Johns Hopkins, first in Psychiatry and then in Neurology. He then joined the JHH Neurology full time faculty to treat and teach General Neurology and also be the Coordinating Medical Director of the Johns Hopkins Pain Treatment Center. He worked extensively with clinicians and scientists during this time diagnosing, treating and researching non-malignant pain syndromes including: Spinal disorders, Neuropathic Pain Syndromes (including Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, Sympathetic Maintained Pain and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), Head Trauma/Concussions/Traumatic Migraines, etc. Being dual trained in Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Empting also worked with Neuropsychiatric disorders where the two disciplines overlapped.
Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Marietta and Snellville
Our clinics in Buckhead, Dacula/Hamilton Mill, Kennesaw, and Snellville can provide many of the treatments and therapies that are recommended for our patients. Most injection therapies, physical therapy or psychotherapy can be completed at our clinics. Some procedures that require specialized medical equipment or minimally-invasive surgery are completed at our Marietta and Snellville surgical centers.
